Founded by Jack E. O’Donnell
as a PVC Compounder and Houseware Manufacturer.
OTECH was reorganized and spun off its houseware manufacturing operation to focus on the compounding business.
OTECH acquired Resource Alliance Inc., a manufacturer of color concentrates, and formed Color Resource as a wholly owned subsidiary of OTECH.
OTECH installed a 66mm twin screw extrusion line to process TPR, SEBS and other rubber alloy compounds.
OTECH added 35,000 sq. ft. manufacturing space and installed an automated medical Class VI PVC 6” extrusion line.
OTECH completed of a $2 million manufacturing automation upgrade. These enhancements include loss weight feeders, electronic bulk handling technologies and electronic process controls.

Jason has 20+ years of experience as a development chemist along with strong leadership in plant and laboratory management. Jason earned a B.S. in Chemistry.
Jim brings 35 years of experience in successful plastics industry, technical sales, management and business development. Jim also has a B.A. in Biology.
Jack brings 15 years of experience in the compounding and resin distribution industry. He is a graduate of Providence College, with a B.S. in Chemistry.
With 25+ years in the plastics industry, Jim has a knack for managing a variety of teams to complete and exceed company objectives and goals.
