Role Description
This is a full-time role for an Assistant Controller at OTECH Compounds. The Assistant Controller will be responsible for assisting with inventory analysis, weekly cash reports, cashflow projections, sales & use tax, financial statement preparation, monthly and annual budgeting, financial analysis, and general ledger reconciliations. The Assistant Controller will ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies. This is an on-site role located in Rolling Prairie, Indiana.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial analysis
- Experience with budgeting and financial forecasting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software
- Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA certification is a plus
Skills associated with the position
- B.A. or B.S. Degree required with relevant (operations, business) field of study preferred
- Must be able to recognize, develop and close on sales leads.
- Strong knowledge of thermoplastic elastomers and production processes is a must.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Good knowledge of advertising and sales promotion techniques.
- Professional appearance and image.
- Must be able to travel as required.
